In a distant time ago, there was an old woman who collected antiques of abandoned things and unwanted pieces. Each one of them was unique but no longer wanted by their owners. Thus the old woman sets out each morning in search of them and returns each night to place them in her house.
One evening, a young lady walked past her house. A simple girl, of a simple heart. She walked past her house and caught a glimpse of a locket that shimmered under the evening sky. She could not help but feel an attachment to it. And when she saw the old lady coming home, she walked towards her.
"Madam, could you let take a look at the locket?" said the young lady. "Why would you be interested in that old thing, my dear? It's merely a locket that's been thrown away by a lady of a broken heart." replied the old woman.
"I can't help but feel a connection with that locket, Madam. It calls to me with its glistening silver and timeless engravings". Staring at the young lady, the old woman picked up the locket on the window sill and gazed at it for a while. "No, my dear" she whispered. "A heart as young as yours should not have to handle a locket thats been abandoned by its owner."
Protests were uttered from the young lady's mouth but the old woman declined and returned to her house with a heavy sigh. She then placed the locket into a box with a lock and blamed herself for being careless to leave it in plain sight.
Feelings of anger and disappointment swelled in the young lady as she returned home. Her fiance stood at the door waiting. She smiled to him and cast her disappointed thoughts away. In three days time they will marry, a locket should not be in the way of such a happy event.

Wow. It's been ages since I last blogged. Been so busy with work and school as of late. Been posted to town to work for an insurance company. Won't state my company's name for fear of sabotage or pranks. Haha.
Hmm..working there has actually been rather educational. Learnt alot abt how insurance company works and how they get our contacts as well. Lol. But i think the most interesting part was telemarketing, which I have found a soft spot for. Maybe cuz its my love for talking and curiousity but its seriously interesting when you are trying to work your way round other people and twist their so called "superior" mind.
Alot of people tend to reject and take haste to reject phone calls from insurance agencies. Many a times, you find them saying things like having no time or not interested. Fortunately for myself, I have found the secret of getting ard this problem. Shan't divulge my secret however here. Because i have also learnt that telemarketers earn an average of $6 per hour and the really good ones can earn up to $15 dollars an hour. Got kinda pissed when I found out abt this. So from now on, I will not let out my marketing secrets XP Wanna know, call or sms me. I'll be willing to share to ppl I actually like or bother with. Haha.
Shall continue this blog post later though, cuz im not at home currently XD

Why the hell is it everytime I log on to Blogger, i can never upload pics...so freaking irritating!!! Ahh!!! Its way too early to get pissed off man. Gonna meet Fad and maybe Joanna later to go exercise. Apparently, my intuition and cosmic factors are pushing me to go for it from my tarot cards. Today's gonna be not so smooth day for me i guess. Haha...
Well anyway, last Thurs i went to Popeye Chicken for the FIRST TIME at T3. Wow..and it tasted great. Had so much fun and time to unwind there. Really felt the hunger pangs when waiting for friends to break fast. Man...they seriously had it tough. Could barely hold back my saliva when I saw other people devouring their chicken. >.< really require alot of discipline. You guys rock!
The chicken there is seriously better than KFC. Taste better and it doesn't have that chicken smell when you eat into it. Plus, their fries and mash potatoes are delicious!!! Kia!!! Going crazy thinking abt. Seriously, if you haven't eaten it, GO NOW!!! Take a cab and fly there down now!!! Apparently, I'm like the only kid in Singapore who hasn't eaten Popeye chicken =.= and everyone's been rubbing it in my face...well too bad! I've eaten it now ^^ and I'm a loyal fan now...lol
Joanna bought little Fayren too ^^ . Not sure if name spelt correctly but its her cute and super genius little bro. Kinda overhyperactive for my liking though but hey he's a boy. Plus, they're at the age where the heart has no fear and energy is boundless. Lol..wish i go back to that age. Really had fun playing and disturbing him..haha!Kept dancing on the table.
Kinda wonder if i would ever want kids in the future. Is it so important to have one? I guess it should really depend on our financial situation and love for one another. If not, NO KIDS!!! Lol. Seeing Joanna so busy feeding him already make me so worried to have one. Cuz i got no patience to do it. Will I be those kind of dependent on maid kind of mothers in the future? So much that my kid thinks the maid is their mom? Lol...poor kid...
Yay! Got mango sago and pandan kueh from Joanna too. Kinda interesting to eat it though..lol...both were my first time eating them. Actually not bad...esp since she made it for the first time too. Hmm..maybe next time must force her to bring her choco cheesecake as well..haha...that one i seriously want to try.
Went out with my family yesterday too. Went to this place called ILUMA. Quite an interesting place. Seriously super empty but the food there is great. Apparently, Waraku Pasta opened up there. And we ate like...ALOT! Ate so much that guilt is all i feel right now >.< Plus! My uncle said i look slimmer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
My uncle whose eyes aren't as superb as they used to be said i looked slimmer!!! Yes!!! Woohoo!!! All i gotta do now is lose 20kg more and I'll reach my ideal weight ^^ Bought super cute maroon coloured sunglasses ^^ so did my aunt and mom. Haha..super cute la..the way they give fashion advice to one another. Than my cousin bought the last white cap they have with a crystal button. I wanted it T.T.....so sad...but each item costs $15. Price not so bad for caps and sunglasses. Overall, ILUMA isn't that bad ba..its in Bugis area...just that there's alot of redundant space plus, its super cold >.<
Oh ya!!! Forgot to tell you guys. I sat through SEA first 360degrees 3D movie!!! MUAHAHAHA!!!! My cuz and i sat for this Aqua World screening for 10min for $5. Wow...super scary leh!!! The stupid sharks and dolphins kept attacking us. And its like super upclose lor!!! You know how theatres often show 3D movies that come close to you but at least 10m away? This show is totally different. I was like screaming with my cuz when we watched it. Luckily i didn't manage to talk anyone into watching the ROOM with me. Its suppose to be a haunted house tour screening. I would have died from heart attack X.X
Lol..quite an exciting weekend overall^^ seriously, can't wait for the next one...

Wow..I seriously need to lose weight. For the past few days, every channel I turn to on the Discover Channel Healthy Living something and Style network, its been nothing but lose weight lose weight. Seriously...there was like so many health and losing weight tips. And I suspect, its because of the THE BIGGEST LOSER show. Seriously, its like Survivor and Boot Camp all joined together. Just caught a few eps the other day, and it eally changed my perspective.
But 0f course, while they do it for the benefit of ones health, I'm planning to lose mine for the sake of beauty =.= sounds so bimbo when I say it...hiaz....
So for the next few months, you will see your dear Ras, doing these weird things to lose weight:
1) Drinking excessively (its water not liquor..so put down that bottle!)
2) Eating with my left hand (suppose to make you eat slower)
3)Go for more evening jogs
4)Get my gym membership after my SIP ^^
5)Take up dance lessons with friends
6) Learning Driving(I'm changing to maunal so yeah...gonna develop muscles from all the clutches)
Well wish me luck, provided that I can survive through all of this..o.O"
